Registered Nurse (IV Therapy)

SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE Our Nurses play a pivotal role in our studio success and are a direct line of support to our customers. Our Nurses are resident experts in our IV program and are well versed in the benefits all our drips offer. Our Nurses provide a high level of care to each customer they see and ensure each visit exceeds the customers expectation. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Administer IV therapy, IM injections Assess patient appropriateness for infusion therapy Obtain and document patient’s medical history at the start of care and ongoing, particularly as related to the diagnosis being treated with the prescribed infusion therapy Communicate observations of patient response to therapy and overall physical assessment/condition with members of the care team in a timely manner, which may include the nursing supervisor, dispensing pharmacist, registered dietitian, and licensed prescriber, among others Maintain a comprehensive knowledge base of infusion therapies, utilizing Company policies, procedures and protocols in addition to all available training resources to ensure understanding of each therapy before initiating treatment Comply with all State and Federal regulations and laws, including employee health and safety protections mandated by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), patient privacy and data security required by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), as well as all home infusion standards of practice Complete all training required upon hire and annually per policy, including cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certification Serve as a professional representative of the Company when meeting with and/or providing education to external customers, payers and referral sources Assist Studio Associates with customer check-in and various studio responsibilities REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE Active Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Georgia At least a year working as an RN in a clinical care setting that contributes to proficiency in infusion therapy (such as medical surgical unit, emergency department, labor and delivery department, or similar setting) Proficient with electronic medical record documentation CPR/BLS certification required COMPETENCIES Exceptional Customer Service Passionate about physical and mental fitness, wellness and recovery Attention to detail Multitask with ease in energy filled, high pressure environment Keep up-to-date on Pause services & IV Program PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ENVIRONMENT Requires a wide range of constant physical activities, including but not limited to: sitting, standing, walking, bending, kneeling, twisting, pushing, pulling, and reaching Frequent repetitive movements Requires close, distance, peripheral vision and depth perception Continuous exposure to moderate noise Frequent walking and standing on hard surfaces Frequent movement, lifting or carrying of weight up to 50 pounds POSITION TYPE Currently looking for a part-time RN to take on a regular Saturday, 9:45am-4:15pm shift and to help out with other coverage needs that arise.
