Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Support student success at every level as an onsite School Psychologist in Algonquin, Illinois. This full-time opportunity offers the chance to work within a collaborative school environment where your expertise will directly impact students’ academic, social, and emotional development.
As a key member of the educational team, you will partner with teachers, administrators, and families to assess student needs, develop effective intervention strategies, and promote positive learning outcomes. This role is ideal for a dedicated professional who values teamwork, data-driven decision-making, and making a meaningful difference in students’ lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and interpret assessment results
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of individualized plans
- Provide consultation to teachers and staff on academic, behavioral, and social-emotional interventions
- Support the implementation of evidence-based practices across general and special education settings
- Assist with crisis intervention and promote a safe, supportive school climate
- Monitor student progress and use data to guide decision-making]
Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
- Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist endorsement
- Experience working in K–12 school settings preferred
- Strong assessment, communication, and collaboration skills
- Commitment to supporting diverse learners and inclusive practices
