Job Description
Title: Exciting Night Shift Emergency Department RN Opportunity!

Job Description:
- Join our dynamic healthcare team in the Emergency Department!
- Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)
- Enjoy the freedom of 2 weekend shifts or 4 weekend days every 6 weeks
- No call duty required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Emergency Department (ED) is a must
- First-time travelers are welcome!


Requirements:
- Certifications:
- ACLS
- BLS
- NIHSS
- CPI preferred
- PALS preferred
- TNCC preferred
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) using EPIC is required
- Previous Charge RN & Level 2 Trauma experience is preferred

Skills:
- Arterial line management
- BiPAP/CPAP management
- Blood product administration
- Care of ventilated patients
- Central line care/management
- Continuous IV sedation
- Management of cerebrovascular accidents (CVA)
- Understanding and interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs)
- Dysrhythmia interpretation and management
- Performing triage and isolation precautions
- Specialized care for traumatic injuries

Unit Details:
- Staffing support available: IV Teams, Respiratory Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, Pharmacy, and more
- Patient demographic: Adults
- Daily census support for up to 180 visits with 63 beds available
- Special procedures handled include Stroke, Cardiac care, and Level 2 Trauma cases

Additional Information:
- To apply, submit your request time off (RTO) with the application; post-submission RTOs are not accepted
- Background check required-no open cases permitted
- Active RN license required for submission
- Float requirements: Travelers may be floated to any campus as needed
- EKG compliance exam must be passed by all RNs, with two attempts allowed
