Environmental Health Safety Specialist

This role supports a world-class propulsion test facility where you'll help ensure the safe testing and operation of rocket engines and ground support systems that are advancing commercial and government space missions. We're looking for an experienced Senior EHS Specialist – Process Safety Management (PSM) to provide technical leadership for high-hazard operations involving cryogenic systems, pressure systems, hazardous chemicals, propellants, and propulsion test infrastructure . Key Responsibilities: Lead and continuously improve Process Safety Management (PSM) and EHS programs. Facilitate PHA, HAZOP, Management of Change (MOC), and Pre-Startup Safety Reviews (PSSR). Partner with Engineering and Test Operations to integrate safety into the design, installation, and operation of propulsion test systems. Lead incident investigations, risk assessments, and regulatory compliance initiatives. Provide EHS oversight for propulsion testing, emergency response planning, and operational readiness activities. What We’re Looking For: 5+ years of EHS experience supporting aerospace, defense, chemical, petrochemical, or other high-hazard industrial operations. 3+ years of direct Process Safety Management (PSM) experience. Strong knowledge of OSHA PSM (29 CFR 1910.119), PHA, HAZOP, MOC, and PSSR. Experience with cryogenic systems, pressure systems, hazardous materials, or propulsion/industrial testing environments is highly preferred. Bachelor's degree in Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, or a related technical discipline (CSP, CHMM, or similar certification is a plus). #J-18808-Ljbffr
