SAP Basis Lead
Location: Edison, NJ Client: TCS
Key Responsibilities
- Define and own the enterprise data strategy for SAP S/4HANA transformation programs.
- Lead end-to-end data migration activities including extraction, cleansing, transformation, loading, validation, and reconciliation.
- Drive SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) frameworks, data quality standards, and governance processes.
- Manage data object scoping, mapping, transformation design, and migration execution.
- Oversee mock loads, SIT/UAT data readiness, production cutover, and go-live support.
- Collaborate with functional, integration, and enterprise architecture teams to ensure successful migration.
- Provide program-level reporting on data readiness, quality KPIs, risks, and mitigation plans.
- Lead global onsite-offshore teams and ensure alignment with enterprise standards and best practices.
Required Skills
- Proven leadership experience in SAP S/4HANA Greenfield Data Migration programs.
- Expertise in SAP master data objects (Customer, Vendor, Material, Finance, BOM).
- Hands-on experience with SAP Migration Cockpit, SAP BODS, Informatica, and ETL tools.
- Strong knowledge of SAP MDG, data governance, and data quality management.
- Understanding of enterprise data architecture, integration models, and harmonization strategies.
- Experience leading large-scale global migration programs using SAFe/Agile methodologies.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
