Communications Senior Associate

We’re looking for a talented Communications team member to join the Consumer & Community Banking Technology and Product & Experience Communications team to develop and deliver communications strategies that reach across Consumer & Community Banking’s Technology and Product & Experience organizations and line of business employees. You’ll help to inspire and motivate our teams while on the journey.As a Communications Senior Associate within Consumer and Community Banking you will join a respected and high-performing group treated as trusted counselors on Communications strategy. Your focus will be on Technology, but will be expected to share in the support for Product & Experience as needed advising and writing for multiple senior executives (messages, presentations, town halls, site visits), building and executing communications plans with measurable outcomes, and managing channels/tactics. You will find and tell human-centered stories that make complex topics technology, AI, software development simple and relevant. You should be intellectually curious and passionate to learn more about business, technology, AI, software development and other topics in your effort to make complex concepts easily understood. Job responsibilitiesSupport multiple senior executives with communications needs, including executive messages, site visits, presentations and town halls, in order to connect with their teams and advance business goals.Create and executing strategic communications plans, including measurement of success.Develop and managing communications tactics and channels as needed to support the strategy. Seek out and writing interesting and compelling stories with a human connection. Partner with internal/external partners to drive innovation, new ideas and better ways of communicating.Stay current with and providing guidance on emerging communication methods, patterns, techniques and technologies/tools.Identify areas of efficiency and ways to execute these responsibilities more simply and effectively.Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:5+ years of internal, corporate and/or executive communications experience, including extensive; BA/BS in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations or related degree hands-on writing, editing, project management and presentation building, in technology or financial servicesDemonstrated success developing executive-level messages, providing communications counsel to senior management teams, and executing strong communications strategiesExperience working with C-suite executivesOrganized self-starter, project manager and multi-tasker with a proven ability to track complex and overlapping milestones and manage multiple priorities and urgent deadlinesA creative, innovative and strategic thinker with the ability to inspire confidence from, and to collaborate closely with, teams, internal stakeholders and senior leadersOutstanding judgment and interpersonal skills, including partnering effectively with executives, peers and other functional groups across the companyHigh level of independence, energy and integrity, demonstrates respect for a diversity of opinions and styles, and takes accountability and accepts responsibilityStrong ability to take complex concepts and deliver them into simple/digestible communicationsExperience with Intranet design, content development, and collaboration and measurement toolsTravel is expected 10% of the timeFinalists for this role will be required to complete a written test to verify strategic thinking, writing, editing and proofreading skills.Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:Experience in digital journalism, social media, digital content is desirableKnowledge of Agile methodology Chase is a leading financial services firm, helping nearly half of America’s households and small businesses achieve their financial goals through a broad range of financial products.
