This position will handle phones, customer communication, shipping paperwork, rating and quoting orders, and general office support. The ideal candidate is organized, comfortable multitasking, and has strong communication and attention to detail. This is an in-office position with potential to become a permanent role.

• Answer and direct incoming phone calls promptly and professionally.
• Rate and quote customer orders accurately according to company pricing.
• Organize, file, and maintain transportation documents including Bills of Lading (BOLs) and Proofs of Delivery (PODs).
• Assist with billing and invoicing by providing customers with copies of invoices, BOLs, PODs, and other documentation.
• Communicate with office staff, drivers, customers, and management as needed.
• Provide general administrative and clerical support.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.

Experience Requirements

• Works well with a team, quick and proficient with computers, office or admin experience

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training in administration is a plus.
• Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably in transportation or logistics.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Proficient with office equipment and basic computer programs (Microsoft Office, scanners, etc.).
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to remain seated or stand for extended periods while performing office tasks.
• Frequent use of computers, telephones, and other standard office equipment.
• Occasional lifting or moving of office supplies and materials up to 20 pounds.
• Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, customers, and visitors.
