RN - MedSurg, Nights

The Staff Nurse provides comprehensive nursing care to patients across the lifespan, utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. He/she ensures adherence to organizational policies, maintains standards of practice, and coordinates patient care activities among assigned staff to deliver quality nursing services. Qualifications Include Graduation from an accredited nursing school; a Bachelor's degree is preferred Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the relevant state or multistate license Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Additional certifications may be required based on specialty area, such as ACLS, PALS, Chemotherapy/Biotherapy, or specialty-specific licenses Ideal Candidates May Have No experience required for new graduates; hospital setting experience preferred Experience in specialized units such as Cardiac Tele, Critical Care, Dialysis, Emergency Department, Oncology, Pediatrics, Surgical Services, or Women’s Services is advantageous Commitment to obtaining specialty certifications within designated timeframes Key Responsibilities Perform patient assessments, coordinate care plans, and ensure safety and quality standards are met.
