PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a detail-oriented Machinist to assemble, repair, and fabricate metal components used in complex assemblies and finished products. This hands-on role is ideal for individuals with fabrication, assembly, blueprint reading, or manufacturing experience who enjoy working with machinery, tools, and precision measurements.

What You'll Do

• Assemble, repair, and fabricate metal components and assemblies.
• Build parts into sub-assemblies and complete units.
• Operate mechanical equipment and fabrication tools safely and efficiently.
• Read and interpret:
  • Blueprints
  • Design sketches
  • Manufacturing drawings
• Verify dimensions, tolerances, and specifications of finished products.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Follow established production procedures and safety guidelines.
• Support continuous workflow and production requirements.
• Operate powered industrial trucks and material handling equipment as required.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2-4 years of fabrication, manufacturing, assembly, or related experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and design drawings.
• Familiarity with commonly used fabrication and manufacturing practices.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and established procedures.
• Willingness to work in a production environment under direct supervision.

Preferred Qualifications

• Metal fabrication experience.
• Experience operating mechanical equipment and manufacturing tools.
• Powered industrial truck or forklift experience.
• Industry-specific certifications related to fabrication or manufacturing.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. with minimal repetition.

• Ability to safely operate powered industrial trucks and material handling equipment.

Pay Details: $31.00 per hour
