We are looking for (2) Maintenance Helper / Handyman - Entry Level for a distribution center located in Miami Lakes, FL. This is a full-time, 7:00 am - 3:15 pm, Monday through Friday with overtime on Saturdays as needed.
- Perform basic handyman and facility repair tasks
- Assist with painting, patching, mounting, assembling, an general repairs.
- Fix or report minor facility issues such as doors, hardware, walls, fixtures, ad work areas.
- Support maintenance projects as assigned by the supervsior.
- Help keep maintenance areas, tools, and workspaces organized.
- Follow safety procedures an dreport unsafe conditions.
- Assist more experienced maintenance staff when needed.
Requirements:
- Entry- level position; handyman or basic maintenance experience is preferred.
- Electrical knowledge is helpful but not required.
- Ability to use basic hand tools and power tools safely.
- Ability to lift, move, bend, stand, and perform physical work.
- Reliable attendance, willingness to learn, and ability to follow instructions.
- Willingness to support different maintenance tasks as business needs change.
- Must pass a National criminal background and drug test
- Must be able to speak and communicate in Spanish.
