TravelNurseSource is working with Revolution Healthcare Services to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Winston Salem, North Carolina, 27103!

Job Opportunity – Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse – North Carolina

Start Date: November 2, 2026

Location: Winston-Salem, North Carolina

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 36 or 48 hours per week available. Every other weekend required. Float within Women's Services as needed.

Highlights:

• High-volume unit with at least 400 births per month, 21 labor and delivery rooms with same-suite labor and delivery
• 13-week contract with comprehensive orientation including EPIC training, 2 days on unit, and 2 half-days in OR
• Patient ratios of 1:2 with interdisciplinary support including Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, Rapid Response Teams, and more
• Advanced labor and delivery experience required: labor inductions, IUFDs, multiple drips (Pitocin, magnesium, insulin), preterm deliveries, multiple gestations, preeclampsia management, and postpartum hemorrhage
• Must be proficient in circulating and recovering C-sections in 3 OR/recovery rooms
• EPIC charting system with PYXIS medication management and SBAR communication protocols

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience
• Experience with at least 400 births per month facility
• Active RN license (North Carolina or Compact state)
• Required certifications: BLS, AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced, NRP
• EPIC experience required
• Proficiency in IV starts, epidural management, circulating in OR, and recovering C-sections
• Experience with labor inductions, multiple IV drips, preterm deliveries, and high-risk obstetrical conditions
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• First-time travelers accepted
