EEG Tech Level II Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center 94 Old Short Hills Road, Livingston, NJ 07039 Pay Range: $37.49 per hour Job Overview Monitors video EEG patients and identifies seizure activities. Performs neurophysiologic tests, including EEGs and video‑EEG initiation, for adult and pediatric patients. Maintains data acquired from tests. Essential Functions The EEG Technician performs EEG tests as requested by a physician. Gathers a patient’s medical history, explains testing procedures, and prepares the patient for the procedure. Monitors the patient’s status during testing and notes abnormalities. Reports findings to the patient’s doctor for further analysis.
