Temporary Application Processor

The Colorado State University Office of Admissions is seeking temporary employees to process applications. This work unit supports the recruitment and admission of students to CSU (Fort Collins).

Essential Job Duties

Temporary processors complete essential data verification and data entry steps as part of processing applications for admission. Typical activities include:

• Ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of student data with strict FERPA compliance
• Reviewing applications and academic records according to established guidelines
• Calculating grade point averages, determining residency and tracking performance indicators
• Verifying data in university systems and performing data maintenance tasks
• Scanning/downloading material into database
• Completing other special projects as assigned

Conditions of Employment

CSU employment is contingent upon a successful background check (after interview). CSU is an EO/EA/AA employer.

Supervision

This position does not include supervision of staff. This position reports to the Associate Director of Undergraduate Processing.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; college preferred
• Demonstrated computer proficiency

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with student information systems, database systems, data entry, data verification and/or compliance projects
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to balance volume, speed and quality
• Demonstrated ability to work independently to meet performance indicators

Salary Range: $19.00 to $21.00 an hour
