Work Environment

You will work in a welcoming outpatient office setting in San Antonio, where teamwork is valued, and interdisciplinary collaboration is encouraged. Our facility is equipped with advanced technology to aid in patient diagnosis and treatment, allowing you to focus entirely on providing quality care. With a commitment to your professional development, the company provides an extensive fellowship program lasting 3 to 9 months, ensuring you receive in-depth training during your onboarding process.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients experiencing chronic pain to develop tailored treatment plans that may include medication management, lifestyle counseling, and referrals for specialized care.
• Provide leadership in coordinating multi-modal pain management strategies that may involve non-operative and operative measures.
• Educate patients about their conditions and the available treatment options, including cutting-edge opioid alternatives, empowering them to make informed healthcare decisions.
• Document patient interactions meticulously using our electronic health record (EHR) system to ensure continuity of care and maintain accurate health records.
• Engage with rural communities within a two-hour radius of San Antonio, facilitating access to care and ensuring that the needs of underserved populations are met.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily serve a diverse population of patients suffering from chronic pain conditions, often within rural and underserved communities. Your role is crucial in understanding the unique challenges these patients face, and you will be instrumental in providing them with the best possible care and support.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and be a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner.
• A Doctorate in Nurse Practitioner Studies is preferred but not mandatory.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in pain management, orthopedic care, neurology, functional medicine, spine surgery, or family medicine is highly valued.
• The ideal candidate should be passionate about serving rural America and dedicated to improving the quality of life for chronic pain sufferers.

Compensation and Benefits

Our competitive salary ranges from $120,000 to $220,000 annually, depending on experience, with additional productivity bonuses. We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and a 401k plan.
