Plant Maintenance Technician

Plant Maintenance Technician (Open) Location: Bozrah, CT (AMG) - ASU How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW? Responsibilities Collaborate safely around high voltage electrical equipment, compressors, pumps, motors, valves, and cryogenic process equipment such as pumps, valves, and hoses. Complete basic disassembly and rebuild of mechanical equipment, change pumps, mechanical seals, collect vibration readings, oil samples, and grease rotating equipment. Support basic low voltage electrical system maintenance, process control loop, and readout calibrations. Calibrate and replace transmitters with accuracy. Complete preventive maintenance tasks and document them in the CMMS system; remove and install motors and pumps. Grow knowledge of the ASU process. Support the team by covering shifts as needed. Collaborate with nearby plant teams during shutdown or PM activities. Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalent. 2–5 years of industrial or cryogenic plant experience preferred. Understanding of control valve functions, instrument calibration, pressure, and level transmitters. Experience troubleshooting equipment in a plant environment. Comfortable working in a non‑air‑conditioned environment. Experience with multimeters (Fluke). Able to climb and work at heights (>100 ft). Computer skills: familiarity with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Valid employment authorization in the U.S. with no need for visa sponsorship. Valid driver’s license and own transportation. Preferred Qualifications Experience with electrical or instrumentation equipment in a plant environment. Strong mechanical background in a plant environment.
