Registered Nurse - ICU

ICU Nurse

Provide comprehensive nursing care to ICU patients, monitoring and supporting critically ill individuals across a range of medical conditions. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient stability and recovery.

Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough assessments of critically ill patients, understanding their physiological and emotional needs.
• Deliver direct patient care utilizing advanced clinical skills, including emergency procedures and equipment.
• Maintain accurate and complete documentation of patient status, treatments, and progress according to guidelines.
• Demonstrate professionalism by adhering to policies, identifying growth opportunities, and upholding ethical standards.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to promote satisfaction and understanding.
• Follow safety protocols, including universal precautions, patient identification, and proper transfer techniques, to ensure optimal safety.

Qualifications:

• Possess at least 1 year of ICU experience in a critical care setting.
• Valid RN license in good standing.
• Certification in BLS and ACLS is required.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing, with an Associates or Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Demonstrate strong assessment, clinical, and documentation skills in a fast-paced environment.
