Our team of radiation oncologists, dosimetrists, physicists, therapists and nurses are all specially trained to treat specific cancers, and we work side-by-side with other Johns Hopkins experts, including surgical oncology, medical oncology, pathology, and interventional radiology to create individualized treatment plans for each patient, using targeted technology. Our patient safety program - cited as one of the best in the nation - employs quality assurance protocols and innovative techniques to ensure the safety and well-being of all our patients. We ensure that each patient is put at ease to ensure thorough preparation for treatment.

Johns Hopkins Radiation Oncology department is currently searching for a full-time Sr. Radiation Therapist to join their team. As a Senior Radiation Therapist, you will:

• Assist in localizing tumors, participate in treatment planning and delivering Ionizing radiation therapy
• Act as primary liaison between patients and radiation team
• Ensure patient safety
• Weekly chart review for quality assurance
• Train Radiation Therapy students and new staff

Minimum Qualifications:

• B.S. degree preferred but not required.
• Graduate of an approved Radiation Therapy Technology program
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiation Therapy
• State certification for Medical Radiation Technologist
• Three (3) to five (5) years clinical experience in all modalities as a radiation therapist
• Three (3) years' experience within a comprehensive cancer center

Salary Range: Minimum 45.28/hour - Maximum 74.76/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
