Position Summary: Our busy Dermatology office is a looking for a part-time receptionist to join our team. We are wanting a receptionist who is friendly, reliable, hard-working, and who is pleasant with patients. Experience in a medical office setting is strongly preferred but not required. Applicants should have great people skills, be service-oriented, and must be able to multi-task, prioritize, and work well under pressure

 

Essential Job Functions:

• Responsible for opening and closing the office, according to office guidelines
• Be present and punctual to all shifts Patient check-in/out for multiple providers.
• Answering patient phone calls, questions and leaving messages for other staff
• Scheduling appointments for multiple locations and providers
• Collecting co-pays and balances at time of service
• Data entry, maintains patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information
• Must be a self-motivated individual, positive, happy and upbeat.
• Ability to adapt to change. 
  

 

Qualifications:

• Great customer service skills
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Phone experience
• Previous medical office receptionist experience preferred but not required
• Computer proficiency
• Ability to multi-task in a busy, high demand work setting
• Responds promptly to the needs of others and looks for ways to help and serve.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing day to day tasks 
  

 

Hours:  Part Time Position: Receptionist Department: Dermatology Location: Provo Hours: Must have flexible availability Monday through Friday 7:15 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. 2 days a week, approximately 20 hrs.

 

Additional Notes: Job duties include; patient check-in/out, answering patient phone calls, scheduling appointments, collecting payments and co-pays, data entry. Must be a self-motivated individual, positive, happy and upbeat. Hours: Must have flexible availability Monday through Friday 7:15 a.m. - 6:00 pm.
