Job Summary Provide value‑added sales primarily by chat and email to potential customers or expand services to existing customers. Meet Optimum technology, product, and service sales targets in a commission‑driven environment. Accurately enter customer account information and respond professionally to sales‑related inquiries. Utilize rapport building to upsell additional ancillary products. Responsibilities Provide high value‑added sales, primarily by chat and email, to potential customers or expand services to existing customers, by accessing their needs and promoting Optimum products and services. Meet Optimum technology, product, and service sales targets in a commission‑driven environment by engaging customers through explanation of overall value, features, benefits, and promotions. Enter pertinent information to customer accounts accurately using proper service codes and one‑time charges while working across multiple systems. Respond appropriately and professionally to questions from pending and current customers regarding sales‑related issues. Utilize rapport building to proactively upsell customers to additional ancillary products by probing, customizing offers, and rebutting objections. Maintain an advanced, current knowledge base of Optimum products. Qualifications High School diploma or GED required; two years of college preferred. Experience selling in a performance‑managed, technology‑focused environment with high‑volume sales through email and chat. Excellent interpersonal skills in a fast‑paced, commission‑based customer service environment. Strong grammar, spelling, written, and oral communication skills to Optimum’s standards. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, overtime, and shift changes as needed. Pay Starting pay rate/range: $33,696.00 – $55,357.00 per year.
