Registered Nurse - Preop/PACU

Location: Manchester, NH

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 12:30 PM - 9:00 PM, 40 hours a week plus call.

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Preop/PACU unit to provide high-quality patient care. Our unit accommodates patients receiving general anesthesia from various specialties, including OR, cath lab, EP lab, Endoscopy, IR, and maternal care.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to patients preoperatively and post-anesthesia.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions throughout the recovery process.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Educate patients and families regarding post-operative care and recovery.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current RN License in the state of NH.
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required.
• Experience in critical care or recovery nursing preferred.
