Medical Assistant Instructor (Medical Assistant or LPN)

Position Summary
Heritage Health Career Center is seeking a motivated Medical Assistant (MA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to serve as a Medical Assistant Instructor. The instructor is responsible for providing classroom, laboratory, and clinical instruction while preparing students for successful entry into the healthcare workforce.

Responsibilities

• Teach Medical Assistant curriculum in accordance with school policies and state requirements.
• Provide hands-on instruction in clinical and administrative medical assisting skills.
• Evaluate student performance through skills check-offs, quizzes, and examinations.
• Maintain accurate attendance, grades, and student records.
• Foster a positive, professional learning environment.
• Prepare students for externship and employment.
• Attend faculty meetings, trainings, and professional development as required.

• Qualifications

• Current Medical Assistant certification or active LPN license.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent clinical experience in a medical office, clinic, or healthcare setting.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Previous teaching or training experience preferred but not required.
• Passion for mentoring and developing future healthcare professionals.
