The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Executive Recruiter to help us identify, attract, and retain exceptional professionals who can support our continued growth and the evolving needs of our clients.

This is an important role within the organization. Our success depends on having access to highly capable professionals with the technical expertise, project experience, leadership skills, and professionalism required to work directly with clients and successfully execute complex capital projects.

The Executive Recruiter will work closely with senior leadership to understand current and future staffing needs and develop targeted strategies to identify exceptional candidates.

This individual will recruit across a broad spectrum of disciplines, including project management, construction management, engineering, plant engineering, project controls, maintenance, safety, design, and other specialized technical areas .

Key Responsibilities

• Partner directly with senior leadership to identify current and anticipated talent needs.
• Develop and execute recruiting strategies for senior-level, management, engineering, and specialized technical positions.
• Proactively identify and engage high-caliber candidates, including passive candidates who may not be actively seeking new opportunities.
• Build and maintain a strong network of experienced professionals across engineering, construction, project management, and related disciplines.
• Recruit professionals capable of working effectively across a diverse range of industries and client environments.
• Develop relationships with candidates well before an immediate staffing need arises.
• Conduct candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and evaluation.
• Assess candidates based on technical experience, project history, leadership capabilities, communication skills, adaptability, and ability to work effectively with clients.
• Work closely with leadership to determine appropriate candidate placement based on individual expertise and client/project requirements.
• Manage candidates through the recruiting process from initial contact through offer and acceptance.
• Maintain an active pipeline of qualified professionals for anticipated project needs.
• Develop talent maps and maintain market knowledge across key engineering and construction disciplines.
• Utilize LinkedIn, professional networks, industry associations, referrals, recruiting platforms, and other sourcing strategies to identify talent.
• Provide leadership with insight into compensation trends, candidate availability, competitive recruiting conditions, and industry talent markets.
• Maintain accurate candidate information and recruiting activity within the company's ATS/CRM.
• Represent the organization professionally and build a strong reputation among industry professionals.
• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding candidates, compensation, organizational plans, and other sensitive information.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional recruiting experience, with a preference for executive, engineering, construction, or technical recruiting.
• Demonstrated success recruiting experienced professionals in engineering, construction, project management, manufacturing, industrial, or related industries.
• Strong ability to identify and engage passive candidates.
• Established professional network within engineering, construction, project management, manufacturing, or related industries.
• Excellent interviewing, candidate assessment, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to understand technical resumes, project experience, and professional qualifications.
• Highly organized and capable of managing multiple searches and priorities.
• Comfortable working directly with senior leadership and experienced industry professionals.
• Self-motivated, resourceful, and capable of working independently.
• Strong professionalism, discretion, integrity, and judgment.
• Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, applicant tracking systems, CRM platforms, and recruiting technology.
