What You'll Do You'll join the Stripe Docs Content team to help users adopt our industry-leading technologies, and to help Stripe product teams ship exemplary documentation at docs.stripe.com. Responsibilities Document Stripe products, including conceptual overviews, task-based guides, APIs, and tutorials for different products Maintain content quality through curation, user feedback, and content performance analysis Work alongside our developers, product teams, and support engineers to ensure content expertise and documentation accuracy Deliver results in a dynamic work environment with plenty of autonomy Push Stripe docs forward by dreaming up and implementing new ways to deliver, author, analyze, and interact with technical content Who You Are We're looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. Minimum Requirements 4+ years of technical writing experience Able to collaborate, partner with, and learn from other skilled tech writers Proficient in HTML and Markdown Conversant with Git and VSCode Adept at communicating technical concepts clearly and precisely Preferred Qualifications Experience with backend languages like Ruby, Go, Python, PHP, Node, or Java Experience with large information architecture projects Experience balancing multiple product launches Experience working with a team of technical writers Hybrid Work at Stripe This role is available either in an office or a remote location (35+ miles or 56+ km from a Stripe office). Pay and Benefits The annual US base salary range for this role is $135,800 - $203,800. For sales roles, the range provided is the role's On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Stripe and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate's experience, qualifications, and location. Applicants interested in this role and who are not located in the US may request the annual salary range for their location during the interview process.
