Material Handler- Fullcase Orders

Job PostingPrimarily responsible for the support of the DC by efficiently picking merchandise located in all order filling zones and labeling each carton in a manner which promotes ease of identification and scanning.Schedule: Monday - Friday: 7 AM - 3 PMPay: $18.00 and upSpecific Responsibilities:Must be able to accurately pick and label merchandise from primary pick locations.Must be able to accurately identify units of measure.Must be able to identify correct merchandise and account for damaged merchandise.Must be able to accurately prepare orders and transport to the Shipping Department.Must be able to meet quality and productivity standards.Ability to take direction from Supervisor.Excellent attendance and reliable predictability a mustAdheres to DC housekeeping guidelinesPerform all other tasks and duties as assigned.Minimum Qualifications:High School diploma or GED preferredMust be committed to a high standard of safety and be willing to comply with all safety policies and practices.Excellent attendance recordMust be willing and able to work overtime when neededGood comprehension, organizational, and math skillsExcellent communication skills both verbal and writtenAbility to interact effectively with other departments and all levels of managementAbility to maintain records accurately and demonstrate problem solving skillsDemonstrated ability to prioritize work and to meet deadlinesMust be a team player with a can do attitudePower Equipment certification a plusMust be able to read, write, and speak EnglishPhysical Requirements:Must have the ability to meet physical assessment requirements for this positionSee Job Analysis and PPE requirement for this positionNote: When duties and responsibilities change and develop, the job description will be reviewed and subject to changes based on business necessity.
