Weekend Material Handler & Forklift Operator in Granite Quarry NC

Shift: Friday Sunday | 6:00 AM 6:30 PM (36 hours worked / 40 hours paid) Pay Rate: $22.00 per hour

Role Overview: We are seeking a reliable, high-energy professional to manage our weekend warehouse operations. This role is uniqueit requires someone who is just as comfortable operating a forklift as they are navigating complex inventory software. You will be responsible for the physical movement of goods and the digital accuracy of our records.

Key Responsibilities

• Physical Handling: Safely operate a forklift (Sit-down, Stand-up, or Reach) to load, unload, and move materials throughout the facility.
• Inventory Management: Use Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or ERP software to track shipments, update stock levels, and generate reports.
• Shipping/Receiving: Verify incoming shipments against manifests and prepare outgoing goods with high attention to detail.
• Efficiency: Maintain a clean, organized workspace while meeting strict weekend deadlines.

Required Qualifications

• Forklift Expertise: Minimum of 23 years of active forklift operation (Certification preferred).
• Tech Savvy: At least 5 years of experience working with computers in a professional or warehouse setting (e.g., MS Office, WMS, SAP, or Oracle).
• Reliability: Since this is a weekend-only shift, consistent attendance is critical.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to work 12-hour shifts and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
