In the role of  Line Lead - Brewing working in  Golden, CO you will be part of the Brewing Team. You will manage and improve results necessary to achieve the Compelling Business Need (CBN) and site Master Plan through rigorous application of WCSC 2.0 methods/tools. The Line Lead may have 24 hour, multiple shift accountability for the plan to deliver business results and build the capability of a production line organization. This role is ideally a single line focus (or line pair). Leads, builds and motivates a winning team. Apply robust people management practices, creating space for effective coaching and communications. Builds and maintains plans and standards around safety and quality.

The above responsibilities apply to a process leader who leads and coaches a 24-hour operation of a functional area with limited to no managerial support on off-shifts or leads a large team of employees (e.g. warehouse). This role also has additional experience requirements and expanded leadership requirements and responsibilities.

What You'll Be Brewing: 

• Develop and lead execution of the Line 90-Day Plans to address losses and build capability. Act as a point of contact and champion for longer term problem solving activities, and create a system to transfer ownership of these activities to the team.
• Provide on the floor coaching, including DMS execution, loss elimination, and skill development and technical mastery. Coach and mentor the team to deliver departmental KPIs the right way, aligned to the World Class Supply Chain 2.0 pillars, and identify talent needs while developing plans to close gaps.
• Lead the line DDS (Daily Direction Setting) meetings and provide coaching to Shift Managers and team members during the shift exchange DDS meeting. Own the DDS Safety and Quality Triggers, CIL DMS, and Defect Handling DMS.
• Develop, monitor, and embed systems and processes that optimize efficiency, quality, and delivery through the removal of waste in all forms. Manage the departmental VOP program and introduce and develop a system to deliver future VOP plans.
• Own Planned Stop Execution and hold monthly review accountability for Line Master Plans and results.

 

Key Ingredients:

• Degree or equivalent experience in Operations, Engineering, Science or Business 
• Understanding of the Supply Chain and planning processes.
• Ability to build, lead, and manage a team, including talent and performance management, feedback, and coaching.
• Knowledge of health and safety, environmental regulations, and practices.
• Ability to lead others through change.
• Problem solving and prioritization experience, including working with data and analytical skills, intermediate Excel skills, and problem solving tools such as 5 Why and fishbone analysis.
• Effective interpersonal, influencing, and collaboration skills.
• Strong planning and organization skills, with a strong sense of accountability to deliver results.
• Budget management experience.
• 3 to 5 years of operations supervisory experience.
• Experience and knowledge of a functional area such as brewing or packaging, and experience working in unionized environments is preferred.

Pay and Benefits:

At Molson Coors, we’re committed to paying people fairly and equitably for the work they do.

Job Posting Total Rewards Offerings : $95,700.00-  $125,700.00(posting salary range) + 15%  target short term incentive + $23,000 on average spent on benefits per employee, including but not limited to health, dental, vision, retirement with above market employer match, wellness incentives and EAP + paid time off (including holidays, vacation days and sick days).

The posting range provided above for salary is what we, in good faith, believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.
