You'll manage and deliver a wide range of surveying services, including boundary, ALTA/NSPS Land Title, topographic, control, design, and construction surveys, while using the latest technology solutions such as terrestrial and aerial lidar.You'll support CEC's strong national presence in land surveying and geospatial services by supporting business development and marketing efforts to grow CEC's Survey Practice along with continuing to shape a culture that prioritizes mentorship, professional development, and long-term career growth.At CEC, our employees enjoy a flexible/hybrid work schedule. At CEC Pittsburgh, we pride ourselves on fostering a culture of connection, collaboration, and growth within the office and in our community.What You'll Do:Technical Leadership: Manage quality assurance and quality control efforts, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and high-quality deliverables across office and field operationsTeam Development & Mentorship: Support ongoing growth of a high-performing practice through mentoring, training, and interview participationProject Management: Manage day-to-day operations of surveying projects from proposal through completion, including scope, budget, schedule, and financial performanceBusiness Growth & Innovation: Act with an entrepreneurial mindset – identify opportunities, expand client relationship, enhance services, and help to grow the practiceWe offer a sign-on bonus to get you started!QualificationsQualifications:5+ years of progressive surveying experienceProfessional Land Surveyor (PLS) or Surveyor-In-Training on track for licensureProficiency with the latest surveying technology, methods, and best practicesProject & Business Acumen in managing the full lifecycle of a project, including proposals, budgets, and client relationshipsA mindset of ownership, leading by example, standing behind your work, and elevating those around youAbout UsWe have experts!
