Travel CT Tech - $2,759 per week in Lafayette, CO

Key Responsibilities Perform a variety of CT procedures using ionizing radiation for diagnostic purposes, ensuring production of high-quality images. Verify patient identification, confirm orders, and prepare patients for exams per department protocol. Review and evaluate images for quality, clarity, and accuracy, ensuring all necessary anatomical structures are captured. Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and maintain a safe working environment for patients and staff. Administer contrast media as ordered by a physician and under radiologist or physician supervision, per protocol, and provide patient education regarding contrast safety. Assist and instruct students and other radiology technologists in exam protocols, procedures, positioning, and equipment use. Required Qualifications Associate's degree required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. ARRT (R) - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification required. State licensure in the state of practice required, as applicable. Demonstrated proficiency in CT equipment operation, imaging techniques, and protocols, including contrast injector operation. Ability to recognize emergent patient situations and respond appropriately. Preferred Experience / Skills One to two years of CT experience in a hospital setting. One to two years of experience in a healthcare setting. ARRT (CT) - Certified Computed Tomography Technologist credential preferred.
