We are seeking a Senior R&D Engineer

to support the research, design, testing, and development of Quick Disconnect Coupling (QDC)

technologies used in data center cooling and fluid conveyance systems

. This role focuses on prototype development, laboratory testing, engineering analysis, and technology validation while working closely with cross-functional engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead R&D activities including concept evaluation, feasibility studies, prototype development, and laboratory testing.

• Plan and execute engineering experiments, analyze results, and provide technical recommendations.

• Develop and validate sealing systems, pressure-boundary components, leak testing, cleanliness, and flow performance.

• Coordinate prototype builds and collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Test Lab, Product Development, and suppliers.

• Prepare engineering reports, risk assessments, design documentation, and technical presentations.

• Support innovation, continuous improvement, and intellectual property (IP) initiatives.

• Mentor junior engineers and technicians on engineering best practices.

Required Qualifications

• Master’s or Ph.D. degree required in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Product Engineering, or a related field.

• Experience in R&D, product development, laboratory testing, prototyping, or fluid handling products.

• Strong knowledge of mechanical design, materials, sealing systems, pressure testing, and engineering analysis.

• Experience with structured problem solving, DFSS/Lean, root cause analysis, and engineering documentation.

• Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate technical findings effectively.

• Experience with CAD tools, testing equipment, and engineering data analysis is preferred.
