EMR Assistant Operations Manager

EMR Assistant Operations Manager Location: Mountain View, CA Schedule: Monday – Friday (4 PM – 12 AM) Pay Range: $73,000 – $80,000 annually The EMR Assistant Operations Manager is responsible for supporting the efficient operation of the Equipment Maintenance & Repair (EMR) department through the management of various work order systems, monitoring building alerts, and handling emergency escalations. This role directly manages hourly technicians who perform preventative maintenance, repair, equipment moves, and other maintenance tasks. The ability to work independently, attention to detail and time management, a focus on user experience, and a priority for safety are all critical to this position. Responsibilities Manage hourly technicians, ensuring safety and efficient execution of maintenance duties. Support operations by utilizing a variety of digital platforms. Gather, sort, verify, and enter various asset and other data types. Monitor and respond to support requests, building alerts, escalations, and tickets. Assist with commercial fleet vehicles, drivers, safety, and accident/incident support. Assist with day-to-day financial and administrative tasks. Run various reporting and write daily recaps. Manage jobs and escalations with third‑party vendors. In‑field support: assist team with access issues, quality assurance, problem solving, and support. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree is preferred, or equivalent professional experience. Commitment to safety and promotion of a safe work environment. Minimum of 2 years’ experience with food service equipment or similar facilities environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong passion for great food, hospitality, and user experience. General understanding and experience with maintenance of food service equipment. Effective time management and prioritization to meet deadlines. Ability to follow all Health & Safety standards. Good judgment and decision‑making skills. Positive attitude under pressure and ability to motivate team. Working knowledge of Google Docs, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Ability to work independently as well as in a team. Ability to work in a fast‑paced, changing environment. Physical & Language Requirements Stand, talk, hear, taste, and smell.
