Direct Support Professional (Residential Assistant)

Overview Whispering Mills is a residential facility for young women. Responsibilities Supervise, organize, and support recreational and/or socialization activities Play an active role in leading the milieu staff through youth’s structured routine while collaborating with youth’s case manager, clinician, and prescriber Engage and interact with youth based on behavioral intervention plans Maintain a clean, safe environment Observing, documenting, and acknowledging positive behaviors Perform all other duties as assigned Qualifications Bachelor level degree in a related social service field (Psychology, Sociology, Education, Public Health, etc.). Psychology preferred. Preference to those interested in enrolling in an MSW program to achieve growth within the agency. 1 year or more experience with a high school diploma working with youth in a behavioral group setting. Must have a valid driver7s license.
