Acute Care Physical Therapist

Schedule
Shift: 5x8 - Tuesday-Saturday, 9:00 AM-5:30 PM

Requirements
- Required license: CA Physical Therapy license
- Required certification: BLS
- Minimum experience: 1 year required
- Charting system: Epic
- LA fire card within last 30 days required

Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct evaluations and develop plans of care for patients.
- Reassess patient progress and engage in discharge planning.
- Implement gait training, transfers, and lifting techniques.
- Provide patient and family education, including home exercise programs (HEP).
- Assess vital signs, strength, pain, and skin integrity.
- Utilize assistive devices as needed.

Compliance / Notes
- Must commit to working 3 of the following 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day.
- RTO must be included at the time of submission.
- Background/license disclosure required at submission.
