Our client a growing construction firm with a strong pipeline of residential work across the Metro New York area is looking to add an Estimator to their team. This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys being hands‑on throughout the full estimating lifecycle, from reviewing drawings and completing takeoffs through to managing bids and supporting project awards. The business specializes in residential construction projects including ground‑up developments and building conversions, and they are looking for an estimator who can bring both technical accuracy and commercial awareness to the team. Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed cost estimates and bid packages Review construction drawings and specifications Perform quantity takeoffs and pricing analysis Coordinate subcontractor and vendor pricing Support bid submissions through to award Work closely with preconstruction and project teams What They’re Looking For Estimating experience within residential construction Exposure to ground‑up and/or conversion projects Strong understanding of drawings, takeoffs, and bid processes Hands‑on approach with strong attention to detail Experience with estimating and takeoff software Motivated individual looking to grow within a dynamic business This is a great opportunity to join a company with long‑term growth, a collaborative environment, and a healthy project pipeline throughout the New York market.
