Director of Business Development Growth and Sales

The Director of Business Development is responsible for network growth of Pearle Vision eyecare centers in the United States, Canada and Caribbean through a combination of franchise sales, acquisition of independent eyecare centers and joint ventures to grow patient access to eyecare in local communities. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth through the expansion of eyecare centers by analyzing market data, developing strategic plans for growth, fostering partnerships both internally and externally, and closing deals. The ideal candidate will be strong a communicator and networker with experience negotiating deals and/or franchise sales, and a background in either Optical, Medtech, Audiology, or health services.

Major duties and responsibilities include developing and implementing comprehensive go-to-market sales strategy to grow leads and improve conversion of prospects into closed deals. Champions the relationship with optometrists, opticians and investors to build cohesive business partnerships with aligned future facing enhancements and opportunities for positive economic growth. Develop and implement new business models, plus negotiate business agreements and contracts with 3rd parties for new business initiatives. Responsible for structure and negotiated terms of agreements with potential business partners. Analyze candidate trends, market conditions, and prospect behavior to adjust strategies and tactics as needed. Collaborate on the evolution of Pearle Vision's value proposition with internal cross functional partners that differentiate across various target end markets. Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute promotional campaigns that will drive new prospects to our pipeline. Communicate regularly with the executive team to report on sales pipeline, challenges, and opportunities. Implementation and ongoing management of sales process via CRM tool and optimize process efficiencies. Ensure compliance with all financial policies and procedures and regulatory laws and legislation. Foster a culture of growth, development and integrity with positivity and energy.

Basic qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field. 10+ years of experience in a related industry (optical, medical, franchise) Proven track record of driving growth and closing deals. Excellent communication, interpersonal and networking skills. Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills. Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make strategic decisions. Proficiency in CRM and sales management software. Pay range: 181,956.00 - 265,566.80
