HR Administrative Assistant

HR Admin (Contract) Marshfield, WI | Onsite Forte Openings M-F with flexible hours Forte is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable HR Admin to join our Marshfield, WI team. This is a temporary contract opportunity to cover for a maternity leave. It is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys supporting people, staying organized, and contributing to a smooth and positive employee experience. In this role, you will support a variety of administrative and HR-related functions that help keep the site running effectively. You will work closely with HR and site leadership to provide responsive, accurate, and professional support across day-to-day operations. What You Will Do Provide administrative support for daily HR operations at the Marshfield site. Assist with onboarding, offboarding, and employee file maintenance. Support employee recordkeeping and HR data entry with accuracy and confidentiality. Coordinate interview scheduling and candidate communication as needed. Assist with timekeeping, payroll-related support, and benefits administration. Respond to employee questions and direct inquiries to the appropriate resource. Help ensure compliance with company policies and employment procedures. Support HR reporting, audits, and special projects as assigned. What You Bring At least 1 year of experience in an HR, administrative, or office support role. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Professional communication skills and a customer-service mindset. Ability to manage confidential information appropriately. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. HRIS experience preferred. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field OR at least 2-3 years of professional relevant experience in lieu of a degree Experience supporting onboarding, employee records, payroll, or HR coordination.
