Mechatronics & Robotics Technician - JLL As a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician, you will support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems throughout the building. You will have the opportunity to install, maintain and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment, and mentor junior technicians. Day‑to‑day responsibilities Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to all material handling equipment (MHE), including belts, motors, photo‑eyes and relays Maintain a positive working relationship across all operations facilities Track and store department inventory Move up to 49 lbs and stand or walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours Travel up to 20% of the time Required qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Ability to work flexible schedules, shifts and areas, including weekends, nights and/or holidays 2+ years of experience repairing material handling equipment 2+ years of experience conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures Preferred qualifications Associate’s or higher degree in a mechanical or electrical field from a vocational school or college 2+ years of experience with automated conveyor systems and controls 1+ year of blueprint and electrical schematic reading 1+ year of knowledge with electrical and electronic principles Experience with MHE safety standards per OEM and safety regulations Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) Experience with robotic or electromechanical operation and maintenance Able to troubleshoot basic input and output functions Physical demands Repetitive bending, crouching, kneeling, reaching, twisting, sitting, standing, and walking Lifting parts and tools averaging 20 lbs, occasionally up to 49 lbs Dexterity in eye/hand coordination, foot pedals, manual picking, pinching, holding, grasping, and wrist motion Working conditions may include small spaces, dust, fumes, hot/cold temperatures, noise, vibration, standing on concrete for long periods, and wet or uneven surfaces Standing or walking on concrete for 10+ hour shifts Working at heights (as stated previously) Pushing or pulling wheeled equipment and carts up to 100 lbs Maneuvering awkward or bulky equipment parts Working in cramped positions under or behind machinery Benefits 401(k) plan with matching company contributions Comprehensive medical, dental and vision care Paid parental leave at 100% of salary Paid time off and company holidays Early access to earned wages through Daily Pay Estimated compensation: 70,720.00 – 70,720.00 USD per year Location: On‑site, Teterboro, NJ This position does not provide visa sponsorship.
