Minimum qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 8 years of experience in full-lifecycle product management and product delivery. 2 years of experience developing or launching products or technologies within security, privacy, or a related area. Experience working in a safety, abuse-fighting, or integrity role at an enterprise software company. Preferred qualifications Master's degree in a technology or business related field. Experience launching AI or ML products or features, partnering with both operations, analytics, data science, and engineering. About The Job At Google, we put our users first. Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. US: $192,000 - $279,000 (USD) + 20% bonus target + equity + benefits Responsibilities Assess threats to users from new technologies GenAI and design appropriate safeguards in advance. Understand abuse that can come from new GenAI features and how to mitigate it. Define safety and abuse prevention strategy that balances short-term needs to ship quickly and long-term goals to scale globally. Collaborate with data science to develop a comprehensive set of metrics to measure product safety and the impact of spam and abuse on our products and users. Work across research and engineering teams to build ML signals, techniques, and infrastructure to protect users including enterprise customers.
