Your Specific Responsibilities:
This position is in a high volume, fast-paced work environment and helps ensure qualified nursing professionals can work in Florida by processing licensure applications. The role is administrative and customer‑service oriented, involving review of confidential documents, use of licensing systems (such as LEIDS), and written communication with applicants, licensees, and other relevant stakeholders. The incumbent updates licensee information in the database, approves applications, and assists with other tasks as needed.
The position requires in‑office attendance within established business hours.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Required skills include proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows‑based systems, the ability to learn job‑specific software, strong data organization and effective communication skills.
Applicants most suited to this position will be highly motivated self-starters who enjoy working in a team environment but also excel at independent projects, exercise independent critical thinking, and are comfortable offering solutions for process improvements.

This is a fully on-site position based in Tallahassee. Employees are required to work from our Tallahassee office five days per week with no regular telework or remote option.
