Compliance Officer

Position Title: Compliance Officer Location: Doral, FL or Tallahassee, FL Engagement Type: Short-Term Contract / Temporary Work Mode: Onsite Duration: Approximately 11 Weeks (09/08/2026 11/24/2026) Interview Type: Webcam or In-Person Role Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Compliance Officer for an 11-week temporary assignment. This position is responsible for interfacing with complainants, evaluating complaint details against relevant state statutes, providing constituent assistance or formal closing notifications, and updating internal database applications. Key Responsibilities Contact constituents and complainants directly to review and discuss details of filed complaints. Read and analyze state statutes in comparison with complaint details to evaluate issues. Communicate professionally with members of the public, maintaining exceptional customer service standard. Notify complainants regarding organizational jurisdiction, case closures, and formal reasoning for closures. Provide constituents with relevant resources or referrals, and issue supervisor-approved written correspondence. Log appropriate activity codes, statutory references, and closing status within the Versa system. Maintain documentation and record all case actions within the OnBase system. Required Skills & Experience Minimum 3 years of experience working with the public in a professional work environment. Minimum 1 year of experience working with the public and analyzing complaints. Minimum 1 year of experience reading and interpreting state statutes. High school diploma or equivalent. Fluency in speaking and understanding English. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Exceptional organizational skills with a commitment to fulfilling the entire project timeline. Preferred Skills Bachelor's degree. Experience using the Versa / Versa Regulations system. Experience using the OnBase system. Additional Details Work Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM (No weekend work or overtime required). Environment: Professional office setting with a business casual dress code. Work Location Choice: Candidates may select either the Doral, FL or Tallahassee, FL onsite location.
