Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a travel assignment in Rochester, NY. The role involves working in a fast-paced environment, performing diagnostic imaging procedures while ensuring patient comfort and safety.

Key Responsibilities of the CT Technologist

• Confirm patient identity and exam verification prior to initiating the scan
• Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging
• Prepare patients for scans and explain the procedure to help them feel comfortable
• Insert IVs when necessary for the test
• Position patients accordingly, utilizing safe patient handling
• Maintain accurate patient records within EPIC, ensuring images are sent to the PACS system correctly
• Maintain a clean and safe scanning facility

Requirements of the CT Technologist

• NYS licensure with injection therapy certification at time of submission
• Completion of formal training in an approved School of Radiologic Technology
• Certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Two (2) years of experience
• Level 1 Trauma Center experience
• BLS certification (American Heart Association ONLY)
