Forklift Operator Location: Houston, TX
Pay Rate: $19.00/hour
Shift: 2nd Shift: 3:15 PM – 1:45 AM, Monday - Thursday

We’re hiring experienced Forklift Operators for a well-established client in Houston, TX. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity offering competitive pay and on-site interviews. TOP REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to load and unload trucks
• Comfortable moving unpalletized materials
• Experience with inventory management
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate and maintain forklifts
• Load/unload trailers including sheet orders (with or without pallets)
• Store and scan finished products correctly in shipping locations
• Check units and load tags for accuracy, report discrepancies
• Complete daily forklift inspection forms and report maintenance needs
• Ensure all units loaded for delivery meet required standards (banding, wrapping, covering)
• Locate and deliver stock to required machines before production runs
• Remove and store finished goods properly
• Keep work and storage areas neat, orderly, and safe
• Accurately maintain inventory location via paperwork and computer
• Complete required paperwork accurately and on time
• Assist other forklift operators as needed
• Follow safety protocols and all company policies
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to read, speak, write, and comprehend English
• Willingness to work overtime as needed
• Ability to lift 25–50 lbs. on a consistent basis
• Proficient in reading a tape measure
• Previous shipping forklift experience is required
• Prior experience in the corrugated box industry is strongly preferred

Work Environment:

• Warehouse setting with regular noise and interruptions
• Some time spent at a computer terminal
• Physical role with frequent walking, use of hands, and occasional lifting
