Due to new business and continued growth, Garelick Farms Dairy is expanding and hiring additional Diesel Mechanics/Reefer Tech. This is a great opportunity to join a stable company with strong demand and a team that plays a vital role in delivering essential products to the community every day.

What We Offer:

• Competitive pay: $33 - $40/hour

What You'll Do:

• Perform preventive maintenance and vehicle inspections
• Diagnose and repair diesel trucks, trailers, and refrigeration units
• Repair brakes, steering, suspension, driveline, electrical, and air systems
• Use diagnostic software and equipment to troubleshoot issues
• Complete work orders accurately and timely
• Work safely in accordance with DOT, company, and safety regulations
• Assist and mentor less experienced technicians when needed
• Support facility maintenance projects as required

Qualifications:

• 1+ year of diesel mechanic, fleet maintenance, or related experience
• Experience with heavy-duty trucks and trailers
• Refrigeration/Reefer experience is preferred (not required)
• Class A or B CDL is a plus (not required)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, crawl, and walk throughout the shift
• Comfortable working in varying temperatures and shop environments
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays when needed
• Pass pre-employment screenings (drug, background, etc)
