Electrical Technician

Akkodis is seeking an Electrical Technician for a Contract to Hire with a client in Memphis, TN. The ideal candidate with experience performing 5DX verification testing, fault analysis, and component-level repair of electronic circuit board assemblies to support manufacturing quality and production goals.


Note: F-S 2nd shift

Rate Range: $20/hour to $31/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.


Electrical Technician Job Responsibilities include:

• Perform 5DX verification testing and component-level diagnosis and repair of electronic circuit board assemblies to ensure product quality and functionality.
• Utilize electronic test and measurement equipment to identify faults, validate repairs, and support manufacturing operations.
• Analyze fault data outputs, inspection results, and test reports to determine corrective actions and perform rework activities.
• Interpret and follow Bills of Materials (BOMs), work instructions, visual aids, testing procedures, and assembly documentation.
• Collaborate with Test Engineering and production teams to improve diagnostic processes, increase repair accuracy, and support process yield objectives.
• Adhere to quality, safety, and security procedures while maintaining accurate records and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, Electronic Systems, or a related technical field.
• 2+ years of experience in electronic circuit board testing, diagnostics, and repair within a manufacturing or production environment.
• Hands-on experience with 5DX verification testing, component-level troubleshooting, and repair of PCB assemblies using electronic test and measurement equipment.
• Strong ability to interpret BOMs, assembly documentation, fault data outputs, and testing procedures to diagnose defects and perform accurate rework and repairs.

Pay Details: $20.00 to $31.00 per hour
