Database Developer

Must have authorization to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship We're looking for a Senior Database Developer to help modernize and scale our enterprise data platforms. You'll play a key role in designing, developing, optimizing, and supporting mission-critical database solutions that power product, analytics, and operational systems. This role is heavily focused on PostgreSQL, AWS cloud technologies, data architecture, performance optimization, and database engineering best practices. Day to day: Design and implement high-performance PostgreSQL database solutions Develop complex SQL, PL/pgSQL stored procedures, functions, and triggers Optimize database performance, scalability, reliability, and availability Manage cloud database environments across AWS RDS, Aurora, and Redshift Build and maintain data pipelines supporting analytics and operational workloads Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform Collaborate with engineering teams to improve application data access patterns and database architecture Support data governance, security, auditing, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives Required Qualifications 10+ years of database development experience 5+ years of hands-on PostgreSQL development experience, including PL/pgSQL Expertise in SQL development, query optimization, indexing, and performance tuning Experience with AWS Aurora, RDS, and Redshift Experience building data pipelines and supporting cloud-based data infrastructure Infrastructure as Code experience using Terraform Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB or MongoDB Experience collaborating in Agile/Scrum environments using Jira and Confluence #J-18808-Ljbffr
