Transform Lives Through the Power of Communication in Columbus, Ohio – Become Our Next Speech Pathologist
What if your next professional adventure could give voice to countless individuals, empowering them to share their stories? As a Speech Pathologist in the dynamic city of Columbus, your role extends well beyond simply addressing communication and swallowing disorders. You are set to unlock potential, reinstate confidence, and cultivate authentic human connections — from toddlers uttering their first words to seniors fostering their independence.
This position presents a distinctive opportunity to impact a diverse array of clients throughout their life journey within a mixed environment of outpatient therapy intertwined with sporadic inpatient care. Whether your interests lie in pediatric language acquisitions, adult neurogenic communication disorders, or rehabilitation for geriatric patients, you will discover fulfillment and adaptability awaiting you here.
Conduct comprehensive evaluations for pediatric, adult, and geriatric demographics utilizing standardized testing as well as observational methods.
Design tailored treatment strategies aimed at achieving both immediate goals and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing objectives.
Deliver individualized speech therapy interventions that emphasize aspects such as communication, language, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing techniques.
Engage in cooperative efforts with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families to establish cohesive care pathways.
Provide educational resources to patients and their families to reinforce progress made beyond clinical settings.
Participate in occasional inpatient speech therapy assessments and interventions, ensuring a seamless continuum of care throughout the patient's rehabilitation experience.
Maintain precise and timely documentation in line with state, federal, and organizational regulations.
Commit to ongoing professional development through continued education and collaborative learning with peers.
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.
Successful completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification is not yet achieved.
State licensure as a Speech Pathologist.
AsHA's Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification to be acquired within the first month of employment.
Expertise in evidence-driven treatment methodologies for all age groups, coupled with a solid grasp of developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing challenges.
Exceptional interpersonal communication skills with patients, their families, and multi-disciplinary care teams.
Capacity to modify therapeutic approaches to accommodate varied cultural and linguistic requirements.
Robust clinical judgement and problem-solving capabilities.
Adeptness with electronic medical records and documentation protocols.
Attractive compensation package reflective of experience and expertise.
Flexible work schedules fostering work-life harmony and diverse caseloads.
Options to specialize in pediatric, adult neuro rehabilitation, or geriatric fields.
Generous paid time off (PTO) and holiday compensation.
Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and life insurance plans.
Support for continuing education reimbursement and professional development.
An environment centered on collaboration and team-driven excellence in care and lifelong education.
In this capacity, you won't just administer speech therapy; you'll become entwined in a mission fueled by community spirit, working diligently to restore voices, enhance communication, and create joyous moments through the power of understanding and connection.
Here, alongside clinicians who view each other as family, you'll thrive in an atmosphere that prioritizes collaboration over rivalry. Each patient holds a narrative, and we trust you to influence how it unfolds.

We seek a Speech Pathologist motivated by results and empathy alike — someone who imagines a silent child with a future brimming with expression, or perceives the hesitant speech of a stroke survivor and recognizes sheer resolve.

Whatever drives your passion, if your purpose is to serve with compassion and lead with expertise, we're excited to invite you to join our team.
If you understand that speech represents more than mere sounds, and therapy transcends prescribed tasks — if you recognize the importance of cultivating trust before undertaking challenges, and value laughter as much as language — then this opportunity could very well be the next significant chapter in your journey.
Join our community that cherishes communication, connection, and the bravery it takes to start anew. Apply today to lend your voice to our mission — and empower others to discover theirs.
