Summary Energy Transfer is looking for an Associate Accountant to join our Intrastate Revenue accounting team in Houston, TX. We encourage a culture of inquiry by always asking why, transforming data into meaningful information, and leveraging technology to streamline our processes Essential Duties and Responsibilities Work cross-functionally with measurement, scheduling, business development, contract administration and other related departments in completing the monthly close process. Perform operational accounting duties including pipeline volume allocations, invoicing and settlement of customer contracts. Assist with segment’s month end closing process including the entry and review of journal entries. Provide customer support and service. Assist with internal and external audit requests. Performs ad hoc reporting as required. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily.
