Job Description

We are seeking a NICU Trained Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to fill a critical gap in our skillset. The ideal candidate will possess experience in a tertiary teaching hospital and be adept in caring for diverse patient populations, including NICU, PICU, acute care pediatrics, and adult critical care.

Responsibilities

• Operate and manage ventilators and various respiratory therapy equipment including Drager V500, VN500, Hamilton T1 and C1, Respironics V30, V60, Trilogy line, Airvo, and Vapotherm.
• Provide respiratory care and support to diverse patient populations in critical environments.
• Ensure compliance with clinical guidelines and procedures while delivering patient-centered care.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to optimize patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 3+ years of relevant experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• NRP certification required for NICU practice.
• Experience in a teaching hospital, especially in a level 1 trauma center.
• Ability to float between NICU, PICU, acute care pediatrics, and adult critical care as needed.
