Staff UX Researcher

Overview The Staff UX Researcher will operate across product areas, designing research strategy and practices at Coca‑Cola to enable product insight and user‑centricity across a global brand portfolio. The role is a connective, cross‑functional position that informs product strategy, design and engineering teams through research at scale. Responsibilities Organizational Research Strategy – Define research strategy across multiple product areas, identify high‑leverage questions, sequence work to build cumulative understanding, and connect research investments directly to business outcomes and strategic priorities. Discovery and Insight at Scale – Apply qualitative and quantitative methods to uncover user needs, behaviours and mental models; use AI‑powered synthesis tools to analyse, theme and surface insight; design research programmes that serve multiple product teams simultaneously and provide continuous insight loops. Thought Partnership and Strategic Influence – Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to cross‑functional leaders, shape decisions before they are made, influence product road‑maps, investment priorities and organisational direction, and build strong relationships across Product, Design, Engineering and Data Analytics. Research Practice Ownership – Own how UX research works at Coca‑Cola, defining methods, standards and ways of working that scale; identify and close gaps through tooling, process, hiring or enablement; mentor researchers and elevate research literacy across the organisation. Required Qualifications 10+ years of UX research experience with a proven track record of influencing product strategy and organisational direction across multiple teams or business areas. Deep proficiency in modern qualitative and quantitative methods (interviews, usability studies, contextual inquiry, diary studies, concept testing) and judgement in selecting appropriate methods. Hands‑on experience using AI‑powered research and synthesis tools to accelerate insight generation while maintaining rigour. Demonstrated ability to operate as a senior strategic thought partner, shaping decisions and communicating complex research to executives via clear, compelling storytelling. Proven ability to operate independently and lead through ambiguity in fast‑moving, complex product environments. Experience building or significantly shaping a research practice, not merely executing within an established one. Preferred Qualifications Experience in CPG, retail or enterprise products spanning multiple user roles and touchpoints, including complex operational or workflow tools. Research of AI‑enabled or intelligent product experiences. Leadership or mentoring experience with a team of researchers, or formal contribution to research hiring and development. Public speaking, panels or recognised thought leadership related to product research transformation. AI‑Augmented Synthesis – Use AI tools to analyse, theme and deliver insight rapidly without sacrificing rigour. Insight Communication – Translate findings into compelling narratives that drive executive action. Systems Thinking – Align user insights with broader product strategy and organisational priorities. Organisational Influence – Build relationships and credibility to shape strategy at a company level. Practice Ownership – Define, improve and scale research practices over time. Mentorship and Capability Building – Elevate research skills and user‑centricity across the organisation. Compensation and Benefits Base salary range: $202,000 – $229,000 USD (US). An annual incentive program with a reference value of 30% is included. Location & Relocation This role is based at Coca‑Cola’s global headquarters in Atlanta, GA. A hybrid schedule of three days per week in the office is required.
