Inspector - FAI Support

The Role Amphenol Aerospace Operations is seeking an Inspector - FAI Support to work out of its state-of-the-art facility in Mesa, AZ . Responsibilities Create ballooned (Bubble) drawings from engineering drawings Identify and label drawing characteristics (dimensions, notes, tolerances) Basic understanding of First Article Inspection (FAI) concepts and documentation Familiarity with SAE AS9102 requirements (preferred, not required) Support preparation of FAI reports (Forms 1, 2, and 3) with guidance Perform detailed and accurate work when documenting attribute and variable characteristics Communicate with Engineering and Quality teams to clarify drawing requirements Location Mesa, AZ 25 minutes from Phoenix, AZ The Person High school diploma and Two years of quality inspector experience Basic understanding of First Article Inspection (FAI) concepts and documentation Familiarity with SAE AS9102 requirements (preferred, not required) The Company With manufacturing sites in Sidney, NY, Mesa, AZ, Nogales, MX, and a Design Center in Pasadena, CA, Amphenol Aerospace Operations has been a leader in designing and manufacturing electrical components for the aviation and commercial airplane industry for over 100 years.
