The ideal candidate brings a strong background in procurement, sound commercial judgment, and the ability to lead teams while managing complex market conditions.Responsibilities:• Lead the overall purchasing function, setting strategic direction that supports operational performance, cost control, and dependable material availability.• Direct sourcing and procurement activities across key spend categories while overseeing supplier agreements and negotiations.• Build and maintain strong vendor partnerships to improve service levels, reduce risk, and create long-term supply chain resilience.• Analyze market conditions, commodity trends, and supplier performance to inform buying strategies and protect business continuity.• Establish disciplined contract management, purchase order oversight, and procurement controls to ensure accuracy, compliance, and financial accountability.• Identify and execute cost-saving initiatives through strategic sourcing, supplier optimization, and process improvement efforts.• Lead, mentor, and develop purchasing team members, creating clear expectations and strengthening overall department capability.
